The self-paced Professional Scrum™ Fundamentals interactive course is designed for professionals who are new to Scrum and those who want to strengthen their Scrum capabilities. This course explores all facets of the Scrum framework including its accountabilities, events, artifacts and more. Throughout the course, the elements of the Scrum Guide come alive with interactive features including activities, videos and quizzes.

This course is a helpful resource to prepare for the PSM I certification test and includes a free attempt at the certification. It is also an excellent pre-learning for those planning to attend other courses to gain a fundamental understanding of Scrum.

Course Overview

In this self-paced online course, students will learn the Scrum framework and how it is a useful way for teams to deliver value and satisfy customer outcomes in complex environments. Students will go beyond learning the rules outlined in the Scrum Guide by discovering the concepts of Professional Scrum, which encompasses the Scrum framework, an empirical mindset, and a customer outcome-driven focus. By the end of this course, students will have an understanding of Scrum fundamentals after seeing how a team applies Scrum in their organization through a case study. Students will also know the most commonly asked questions that are often asked of Scrum.org and our Professional Scrum Trainers about the Scrum framework

This course is delivered fully online at your own pace.  You can take it over a period of days, weeks or months, whatever suits your availability and needs.

The course will take approximately 4 1/2 hours to complete. After completing the course, students will receive a downloadable recognition of course completion certificate.
