INTRODUCTION AND IDENTIFICATION OF THE LEGAL ENTITY

Please note that the “Pyxis Doceo” brand is a division of the legal entity “Pyxis Technologies Inc.” All terms, conditions, policies and provisions set forth herein shall apply to and be construed as applicable to “Pyxis Technologies Inc”. When we refer to “we”, “us” or “our” in this document, we mean “Pyxis Technologies Inc.”, including its division “Pyxis Doceo”.

SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Pyxis Doceo offers its users the opportunity to follow professional training courses provided by pre-selected experts. These courses vary in length, format, location and cost. Pyxis Doceo training courses can be public or private, face-to-face or remote.

TRAINING ORGANIZATION AND PROCEDURES

  • Course description:The specifics of each course, such as duration, price, content and other relevant details, are clearly defined in the course description.
  • Price inclusions: The cost of the course covers teaching aids and materials, as well as snacks and refreshments during public face-to-face sessions. For certification courses, the cost of the first online exam is included in the course price.
  • Unforeseen events: Exceptional circumstances may lead to changes in or cancellations of training courses. In such a case, we undertake to inform you as soon as possible.
  • Modifications by the organizer: We reserve the right to make updates to training materials, as well as to change session dates and locations.
  • Change of date: If the date of a training course is changed, participants already registered can reschedule or cancel their participation at no extra cost.
  • Trainer: Although we strive to maintain consistency in the appointment of trainers, we cannot guarantee that a specific trainer will be involved in a given session.

REGISTRATION AND DATA PROCESSING

  • Limited enrolment: The number of participants in our training courses is limited. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Accuracy of information: By registering, you agree to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information required to process and invoice your registration.
  • Electronic communication: A valid e-mail address is required for any communication related to your registration. Your registration and all related correspondence will be managed electronically via the organiser’s systems or associated cloud services.
  • Sharing of information: You agree that we may process and share your information with our partners, only if this is necessary for the processing of your registration or the organization of the training. In the case of certification training, your data may be transmitted to the certifying institutions in order to provide you with an assessment password and the corresponding certification.
  • Protection of your data: We undertake not to sell your data and to ensure that it is used appropriately. Your data will be used exclusively for registration purposes and to inform you about our workshops and other events.
  • Newsletter: You can subscribe to our newsletter via our website. Each issue of this newsletter will give you the opportunity to unsubscribe.

PAYMENT OF COURSE FEES

  • Payment of fees: Course fees must be paid before the course begins. For in-house training courses, payment must be made within 30 days of the invoice date.

CANCELLATION AND SUBSTITUTION POLICY

  • Enrolment requirements: Enrolment is a prerequisite for participation.
  • Cancellation policy: You can cancel your registration free of charge up to 5 working days before the start of the course. After this deadline, the full registration fee remains payable, whether or not the participant attends the course.
  • Substitution of participants: If a registered participant is unable to attend the course, he or she can be replaced by another person at no extra charge.
  • Cancellation or substitution procedure: For cancellations or substitutions, please contact us directly.
  • Cancellation by the organizer: In the event that a course is cancelled due to insufficient numbers of participants or the unavailability of the trainer (e.g. due to illness), the registration fee already paid will be refunded in full. No other form of compensation will be granted.

CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE

  • Required information: When you make a purchase via our service, you may be asked to provide specific information related to that purchase, such as credit card details and billing address.
  • Declaration and warranty: By making a purchase, you represent and warrant that :
    • (i) You have the legal right to use the chosen means of payment.
    • (ii) All information provided is accurate, up-to-date and complete.
  • Third-party services: We may use third-party service providers to facilitate transactions and payments. By providing us with your information, you consent to our sharing it with these service providers in accordance with our privacy policy.
  • Right of Refusal or Cancellation: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any registration for any reason, including, but not limited to:
    • Unavailability of product or service.
    • Errors in description or price.
    • Ordering errors.
    • Suspected fraud, unauthorized or illegal transactions.

PRICING POLICY

  • Public rates: The rates shown on our website correspond to courses open to the public.
  • Private training: For private training courses for groups, rates are specific and require prior assessment by our sales department.
  • Preferential rates: Certain companies and organizations can benefit from preferential rates, negotiated directly with our sales department. These rates can be applied to online purchases.
  • Inappropriate use of preferential rates: If a user attempts to benefit from a preferential rate to which he/she is not entitled, he/she will not be allowed to take the course until the situation has been rectified.
  • Price currency: All prices and rates for our training courses are expressed in Canadian dollars (CAD).

PROMOTIONAL CODE POLICY

  • Nature of codes: Promotional codes are special offers enabling our customers to benefit from reductions in registration costs, either in the form of a fixed value or a percentage.
  • Code validity: Each promotional code has a start and end date. After the expiry date, the promotional code can no longer be used and will not be accepted at the time of registration.
  • Use when registering: If a customer fails to use a promotional code when registering online and the training has already been paid for or completed, Pyxis Doceo will not retroactively apply the promotional code. Consequently, no refund will be given to the customer for the difference.
  • Usage limits: Some promotional codes may have a limit on the number of times they can be used. Once this limit has been reached, the promotional code will no longer be valid, even if the expiry date has not yet passed.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that promotional codes are applied correctly when registering. Pyxis Doceo cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions relating to the use of the codes.

TESTIMONIALS AND FEEDBACK

  • Encouragement to share: Pyxis Doceo users are invited to share their experiences and impressions of the training courses they have taken with us.
  • Prior moderation: Before publication, each review or testimonial will be moderated to ensure that it meets our criteria.
  • Discretionary right to publish: Pyxis Doceo reserves the absolute right to decide whether or not to publish a notice. We are not required to provide any justification for our decision to publish or not to publish a testimonial or opinion.

ACCREDITATIONS AND RECOGNITION

  • Compliance with the law: In accordance with the “Act to promote workforce skills development and recognition” (Bill 90), Pyxis Doceo is recognized as an officially accredited educational institution.
  • Accreditation by Emploi-Québec: Our accreditation is issued by Emploi-Québec, under certificate number 0051201.
  • Investment in training: Expenses incurred for training at Pyxis Doceo are recognized and eligible under the provisions of Bill 90.
